Each participant will rehearse solo
speeches and scenes with other actors
from published plays (classical, modern and contemporary European plays across a range
of genres, including drama and comedy.
Each participant will also participate in one of our
3-hour Acting Tasters as a preliminary session prior
to the start of the course. Acting Tasters provide an overview of basic acting and vocal technique and include improvised scenes. This gives the tutor an excellent insight into each student’s personality, skills and confidence, which helps her select the right material to interest and challenge each student, and which they will enjoy learning and rehearsing.
